The CoR is concerned with the promotion and development of medical imaging and radiotherapy, the promotion of study and research into radiography, and the promotion of public awareness of the profession.
These objectives are seen to be directly in the public benefit.
- To promote and develop for the public benefit the science and practice of radiography and radiotherapeutic technology and allied subjects.
- To promote, study and research work in radiography and radiotherapeutic technology and allied subjects and to publish the results of all such study and research.
- To further public education
Every three years the College of Radiographers Board of Trustees agrees a strategy with further detailed objectives.
