As of July 2024, the College of Radiographers initiated the closure of its Advanced and Consultant Practitioner Accreditation Schemes in favour of alternative resources.
Both schemes have now closed to new applicants and those due to apply for re-accreditation.
Currently a small number of advanced and consultant practitioners remain accredited with the College until their current period of accreditation expires. Accreditation is time-limited and is granted to individuals who have met pre-defined College of Radiographers (CoR) requirements.
For further information regarding the cessation of the Advanced and Consultant Practitioner Accreditation Schemes and the alternative resources planned please see the statement released by the College of Radiographers here.
Alternatively, see our Frequently Asked Questions here.
For further information on advanced level practice please see the Education and Career Framework (CoR, 2022).
