The College of Radiographers (CoR) Overseas Conference Attendance Award has been established following the success of the Overseas Conference Grant – Legacy Fund (established 2016).
This award is available to qualified members of the Society of Radiographers and to educators who are not radiographers but who promote radiographic education; applicants may apply individually or as a small team. It is not available to student members.
The award is designed to support the presentation of research and/or service evaluation findings as an oral paper at an international conference. Poster presentations are not supported.
Successful applicants will agree to prepare an article for publication in Synergy or Insight on their experience, and are encouraged to publish the findings of their work in Radiography.
Funding for this award is a set value of £500. There will be two awards per year of £500 each and the deadline for applications will be 5pm on the last Friday of September each year.

NB Unfortunately, we are unable to fund applicants who have previously received overseas conference grant or overseas conference attendance award funding.
Those wishing to apply for the award are required to complete the accompanying application form and submit this alongside a short CV (for each applicant if applying as a team) and a manager’s letter of support by the deadline in September.
NB Funding will not be released until notification has been received from the conference organisation committee confirming that the abstract has been accepted for presentation as an oral paper.
Successful individuals will be required to sign and adhere to the Society and College of Radiographers’ terms and conditions for the award.
